Pawsnickety Pets Return Policy

We want you (and your pets) to be over-the-moon happy with your purchase. If somethingโ€™s not quite right, hereโ€™s how returns work at Pawsnickety.

Quick Snapshot

  • Return window: 30 days from purchase

  • Condition: Most items must be unused and in original packaging

  • Refunds: To the original payment method

  • Exchanges: Welcome within 30 days (same rules as returns)

  • Clearance: Final sale (no returns or exchanges)

Whatโ€™s Returnable

  • Unused items in original packaging (collars, harnesses, bowls, toys, grooming, etc.)ย 

  • Apparel/accessories with tags still attached

  • Wrong size/color? Weโ€™re happy to exchange within 30 days if itโ€™s unused

Whatโ€™s Not Returnable

  • Clearance items (final sale)

  • Concierge/special orders that we donโ€™t normally stock

    • Exception: If itโ€™s a size/flavor of a product we already carry, we can usually accept it back

  • Used/chewed toys or items that show wear and tear (unless defective)

Opened Food & โ€œMy Pet Didnโ€™t Love Itโ€

We get it...some pets are picky! Many of our brands offer a satisfaction guarantee.

  • Opened food/treats may be returnable on a case-by-case basis, depending on the brandโ€™s policy

  • If eligible, weโ€™ll do a refund or exchange per the brandโ€™s rules (most brands are great about this)

  • Not sure if your opened item qualifies?ย Call or email usโ€”weโ€™ll check the brandโ€™s guarantee and take care of you.

Defective or Damaged Items

If something arrives damaged or fails early under normal use:

  • Let us know within 7 days for shipping damage, or as soon as you notice a defect

  • Weโ€™ll repair, replace, or refund as appropriate

How to Start a Return

  • In-store: Bring the item and your receipt/order number

  • By mail: Email us firstโ€”weโ€™ll confirm eligibility and share simple steps

  • Return shipping is on the customer unless we made a mistake (wrong item, defective, etc.)

Proof of Purchase

Please bring a receipt or order confirmation info so we can find your purchase quickly. We have to be able to match your request with your documented order in our system.ย 

Timing

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, refunds are typically issued within 5โ€“7 business days to the original payment method (bank processing times may vary)

A Few Examples (so thereโ€™s no guesswork)

  • Opened kibble your dog wonโ€™t eat? Likely yes, if the brandโ€™s guarantee covers itโ€”weโ€™ll check and handle the refund/exchange.

  • You ordered a special item we donโ€™t usually stock? Not returnable, unless itโ€™s just a different size/flavor of something we already carry.

  • Clearance harness didnโ€™t fit? Final sale (weโ€™re happy to help you size before you buy next time!).

  • Toy fell apart after one fetch? If itโ€™s a defect, weโ€™ll make it right. If it shows normal chew wear, itโ€™s not returnable.
