- 1/2 cup Fussie Cat Tuna with Salmon wet food
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons oat flour
- 2 tablespoons powdered brewer's yeast
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh catnip (optional)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a food processor (a blender would work too!), combine Fussie Cat wet food (with its juices) and the egg. Process until smooth.
Add oat flour and powdered brewer's yeast to the salmon mixture. Blend until you have a thick and dough-like consistency.
If your cat enjoys catnip, fold in the chopped fresh catnip to the dough mixture.
Scoop out small portions of the dough and shape them into heart shapes using your hands or a mold.
Place the salmon hearts on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for approximately 8-10 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.
Allow the treats to cool completely before treating your feline friend.
Voila! You've just whipped up a batch of Salmon Heart Snacks that are sure to make your kitty's Valentine's Day extra special. Remember, as with any treats, moderation is key, and it's important to consider your cat's dietary preferences and any potential allergies. Happy Valentine's Day to you and your beloved kitty! 💕🐱🐾
