Mark Your Pawlendar: Six Months of Tail-Wagging Fun Ahead!

If there’s one thing our furry friends know best, it’s how to live in the moment and at Pawsnickety Pets, we’re taking a page right out of their pawbook. We’ve paw-planned, paw-prepped, and paw-polished a six-month calendar of events designed to keep tails wagging, noses wiggling, and pet parents smiling from now through the holidays.

That’s right... for the first time, we’re rolling out a full slate of community events through December. Some are beloved classics that our customers beg us to bring back, while others are brand-new surprises that are already stirring up excitement. Think of it as your pet’s social calendar with snacks, silliness, and spirit at every stop.

So grab your leash, mark your calendar (or should we say Pawlendar), and let’s peek at what’s coming up!

🥩 August: A Tasty Kickoff

We started things strong with two events that put the “treat” in treat-ment.

• Rawgust
  A month-long freezer-fresh food sampling and discount celebration. Pets get to taste-test, pawrents get to save, and everyone’s bowls were a little fuller and fresher.

• Bark 2 School (8/23 & 8/24)
  Bundles, discounts, and adorable photo ops that made “back to school” season a little less about pencils and paper, and a lot more about paw prints and playtime.

Don’t worry if you missed them — our Pawlendar has plenty more fun on deck. 

 

🏈 September: Team Spirit & Tie Dye

• Tail Gate Pawty (9/6 & 9/7)
  Football season, but make it furry. Expect team spirit, tasty snacks, and plenty of sideline cuteness. Jerseys optional, enthusiasm mandatory.

• Tie Dye Pawty (9/27)
  DIY never looked this paw-some. Join us for a crafty afternoon making wearable creations for both humans and pups. Spoiler: the pets usually steal the runway.

 

🎃 October: A Wickedly Good Time

• Witch, Please! (10/26)
  Complete with pet tarot readings and magical giveaways.

• Costume Contest (10/26–10/30)
  Why should humans have all the Halloween fun? Dress up your pets, shop in costume, and compete for prizes (and bragging rights). 

 

🎁 November: Kicking Off the Holidays

• Treat Yo’ Elf (11/1–12/10)
  Start earning and spending pawlidays cash — the more you shop, the more festive fun you unlock.

• Small Biz Saturday / Our 5th Anni-Pawty (11/29)
  It’s not just a shopping day — it’s a birthday pawty! Join us as we celebrate five years of tail wags, treats, and community love. Expect sales, surprises, and plenty of celebration. 
  

 

🎅 December: The Most Paw-nderful Time of the Year

December is stacked with more events than Santa’s sleigh can carry. Here’s what’s coming:

• Naughty or Nice Photo Contest (12/1–12/15)
  Is your pet a little saint… or a mischievous elf in disguise? Submit your photos and let the community decide.

• Ghent Holiday Market (12/7)
  Celebrate with local makers, holiday cheer, and plenty of pet-friendly spirit. Santa will be there for your holiday card photos!

• 12 Days of Treatmas (12/9–12/19)
  Daily deals, festive reveals, and surprises galore.

• Santa Photos (12/7 & 12/13)
  Because nothing says holiday cheer like your pet snuggled up with the big guy in red.

• Reindeer Games (12/13 & 12/20)
  Holiday-themed playtime, prizes, and a guaranteed good time for pets and people alike.
