Howl-o-Weekend is almost here, and this year’s vibe is witchy, whimsical, and wonderfully weird in all the best Pawsnickety ways. We are talking tarot cards, treats, tail-waggin’ wisdom, and a costume contest that brings out Norfolk’s most creative pet parents.

On Sunday, October 26, we are turning Pawsnickety into a magical little den of divination for a full day of PAW-sychic readings.
Come discover your pet’s destiny with our Pawsnickety Pets Oracle of the Paw tarot-style deck designed exclusively for dogs and cats.
Will your furry familiar find fame, fluff, or forbidden snacks? There is only one way to find out.
What’s Happening
Live Pet Tarot Readings with Kaycee the Pet Psychic

Bring your pet, sit for a reading, and let Kaycee interpret the cards. She has a sixth sense for silliness and a gift for turning tail wags into wisdom.
Self-Serve Card Pulls + QR Code Interpretations
⏰ 1 PM to 5 PM
Pull a card from the Oracle of the Paw deck and scan the code for a custom interpretation. It is part mystical, part hilarious, and totally on brand.
Free Stickers and Collectible Cards for Everyone
Take home a magical memento of your pet’s reading. These goodies tend to disappear faster than a ghost on Halloween night.

The Costume Contest Returns
From October 26 through October 30, the annual Pawsnickety Halloween Costume Contest will take over the shop. This is one of our most iconic events of the entire year, and our customers never disappoint.
To participate, visit the store in costume and let our team snap your official entry photo. Tiny pumpkins, pirate pups, sassy fairies, wizard cats, full-blown movie recreations, and matching family costumes are absolutely encouraged.
We will share entries for community voting on Facebook and crown one lucky pet the 2025 champion.
This year’s prize basket is stuffed with treats, toys, and seasonal goodies that would make even a goblin cackle with joy.
