At Pawsnickety Pets, we're more than just a pet supply boutique – we're a community-driven haven for furry friends and their hoomans alike. As part of our ongoing commitment to give back to the animals who bring so much joy into our lives, we're thrilled to introduce our Pawrtners of the Year initiative, a cornerstone of our Gives Bark Program.

Our Pawrtners for 2024

Each year, we carefully select local animal rescues and nonprofit shelters to be our Pawrtners of the Year, organizations that embody our values of compassion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to animal welfare. For 2024, we're honored to announce the following Pawrtners:

Hope for Life Rescue: Dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, abused, and abandoned animals, Hope for Life Rescue provides sanctuary, medical care, and love to animals in need, helping them find their forever homes.

Friends of Norfolk Animal Care Center: As advocates for the animals in Norfolk's municipal shelter, Friends of Norfolk Animal Care Center works tirelessly to support the shelter's programs, provide medical care for animals in need, and promote adoption and responsible pet ownership.

Giant Hearts Giant Dog Rescue: Specializing in rescuing and rehoming giant breed dogs, Giant Hearts Giant Dog Rescue is committed to giving these gentle giants a second chance at life, providing them with love, care, and forever homes.

Feral Affairs Network: Focused on helping community cats through trap-neuter-return (TNR) programs and compassionate care, Feral Affairs Network works to improve the lives of feral and stray cats while advocating for humane solutions to cat overpopulation.

Symbiotic Inc: Symbiotic Inc is dedicated to promoting the welfare of all animals, from companion animals to wildlife. Through education, advocacy, and hands-on rescue efforts, they strive to create a more compassionate world for all living creatures.

Billy the Kidden Rescue: Committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats and kittens in need, Billy the Kidden Rescue provides a safe haven for cats facing homelessness, neglect, or abuse, giving them the chance for a better life.

Our Commitment to Giving Back

As Pawrtners of the Year, these organizations hold a special place in our hearts, and we're dedicated to supporting their lifesaving work in any way we can. Throughout the year, we raise funds through various initiatives, including in-store events, community partnerships, and special promotions, with a portion of proceeds allocated to our Pawrtners fund.

In addition to monetary contributions, we also donate products and supplies to our Pawrtners, ensuring they have the resources they need to care for the animals in their care. From nutritious food and treats to essential supplies and enrichment toys, our donations aim to make a tangible difference in the lives of animals awaiting their forever homes.
